Lender
Complete credit journeys, from origination to settlement.
What it is
Lender is Lerian's credit journey engine. It runs the full lifecycle of a credit operation — from defining the product, through origination and disbursement, to servicing, repayment and an audit-ready history. It covers three journeys: consumer credit (CDC), business lending and cards.
Most institutions assemble this from separate systems — a product catalogue, an origination tool, servicing in the core, spreadsheets in between. Lender's premise is that the journey belongs to a single engine, with a single consistent history. Jurisdiction is a foundational concept in the engine: a generic core, with a deep Brazilian profile on top.
Capabilities
- Products: versioned loan products, charges, rate tables and accounting profile.
- Origination: proposal, approval or decline, disbursement, schedule preview and regulatory disclosures.
- Servicing: schedules, repayments, early payoff, rescheduling and corrections by reversal.
- Accounting: accounting profiles and posting rules that tie every event to the ledger.
- Portfolio and audit: portfolio and delinquency dashboards with an immutable trail.
- Jurisdiction at the base: generic core + Brazilian profile (CET, IOF, PDD).
When to use it
- Private-sector Consignado in Brazil, where installments are deducted from payroll at source: active origination, generating and signing the CCB (Brazil's standard loan note), and registration with the payer — the deepest journey available today.
- Consumer credit (CDC): loans to individuals on a fixed schedule.
- Business lending and cards: credit to companies and card-based credit journeys.
On the platform
Runs on top of the platform: every financial event is booked in the Midaz double-entry ledger through configurable accounting profiles. It publishes lifecycle events to the platform's event backbone and isolates tenants like every Lerian product.
